Seeds Mission International is a collaboration with a project by the same name in Madras India. It’s purpose is to faithfully and humbly enact the great commission given to men two thousand years ago.
The command is given to ordinary believers as described in Mark 16:15 when Christ says “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.” Later in a parable to his disciples Christ describes this act and it’s consequences in Luke chapter 8:
The Parable of the Sower The Parable of the Sower
“A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path; it was trampled on, and the birds of the air ate it up. Some fell on rock, and when it came up, the plants withered because they had no moisture. Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up with it and choked the plants. Still other seed fell on good soil. It came up and yielded a crop, a hundred times more than was sown.” … “The seed that fell among thorns stands for those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by life’s worries, riches and pleasures, and they do not mature.
But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop.”
The Great Commission
The command of Christ to His disciples is:
“Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved…” Mark 16:15-16
If you view this site with this statement in mind you may understand the reason for the hope that is now mine since visiting my brothers in India recently. And hopefully . . . “That they may seek Your name O Lord”…“That they may know you, whose name alone is The Lord, the most high above all the Earth.” Ps 83:16.18
The SeedsMission site
The intent of this website is to glorify the ”name of the Lord, who made the Heavens and the Earth from whence comes our help” Psalms 121:2
Although there is much work to be done at this time the Seeds website was not intended to solicit donations. The site is merely to show the continuing work of God in the lives of who seek Him.
Please feel free to email me if you have any questions. I’d love to hear from you. Finally Christ said: “He who seeks shall find” Luke 11:9
May God bless you in your search for truth. Phillip McDonald
